I first met Greg in December of 2015, I was overweight, I had low self esteem, and couldn’t get up the stairs without being out of breath.
I was asked what my goals were, and what I wanted to achieve, I told him I was getting married in August 2017, I needed to be comfortable in my dress but I didn’t want to be skinny, I wanted to be strong.

So, Greg tested my fitness, I ran on the treadmill, did some kettle bell swings, and tried (and failed) to lift weights. He could see I was in need of serious help! So he created a diet plan, well…more of a lifestyle change than a diet. He also gave me an exercise plan.

Within 6 months of training with Greg for 1 day a week and 4 sessions on my own, following his plan, I lost over 10kg in weight, and my body shape completely changed. I felt great! I’d lost the weight, but now it was time to work on building strength. Greg was so patient with me, knowing I had underlying health conditions didn’t deter him from pushing me in a way that was not going to make me or my condition worse. “The only bad workout is the one you didn’t do”, so with this is mind I kept going, even if i felt like staying under my duvet, I got up dressed and got my ass to the gym. I knew if I slacked off, my session with Greg would be gruelling. I’d get a text encouraging me to get up and go if he hadn’t seen me training. Which gave me a much needed kick up the backside!

It’s now been a year since I began training with Greg, I’m the smallest i’ve ever been, at a healthy 70kg in weight, I’m solid muscle and I am happy, I look great, feeling much more confident and looking forward to walking down the aisle in my dress. I’ve reached my goal of being strong, now I want to be strong enough to compete in amateur strong women competitions!

I could not have achieved what I have in such a short time without Greg’s support, patience, and PT knowledge. His body is a reflection of his attitude and his determination to be strong and fit. He isn’t a one trick pony, tell him exactly how you like to learn and he’ll tailor his approach. I will continue to train with him, it’s been the best decision i’ve ever made. Not all PT’s are equal!
